Design Features

Each support column is formed from two steel sections for added strength and stability.

Lower guide tracks fully interlock to adjacent tracks to prevent drifting and keep alignment.

Fully adjustable tiers/rows to ease operation and enhance long term maintenance.

Each moving row is fitted with a steel fabricated parallel guidance system to ease operation and prevent jamming.

Tiers/rows are fitted with a load transfer skid, which is cushioned, so that when the seating units are in the open position a 'solid' contact is provided between each row. This eliminates 'banging' and clattering' between tiers/rows when seating is partially loaded with people.

One man power operation of the seating system if required.

10 year guarantee on support structure.

Full specification and floor loading details available on request.

Seating Capacity Information
A minimum of 450mm spacing is allowed for each person along the bench seat. The length of the bench seat is calculated using mulitples of 450mm. The aisle width is normally taken as 1100mm, although this may be increased subject to the number of people using the aisle and the overall seating layout. Handrails are usually required at the end of each bank of seating.
Two handrail options are available:
  • Demountable rails - slot into sockets mounted on the deck - allow 50mm inboard.
  • Self-storing - open and close with the seating system - allow 300mm outboard.
